The successful candidate will:Perform clinical laboratory procedures and examinations, as well as tests or procedures conducted by the Chemistry and Hematology as the Lead Tech, providing guidance and oversight to laboratory team members.Ensure compliance with all departmental, hospital, and governmental personnel on technical methodologies and the interpretation of results.Maintain laboratory inventory and manage statistical records.Facilitate a smooth workflow by assigning appropriate staff to tasks. Assist with coordinating administrative operations for the other duties and responsibilities as needed or as business need demands. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Physical or Biological Science.New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License.Preferred Qualifications: ASCP Schedule:Variable Days; Variable Hours (Full-Time)Salary Grade/Rank: SL-3Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualificationsExecutive Order:Pursuant to Executive Order 161, no State entity, as defined by the Executive Order, is permitted to ask, or mandate, in any form, that an applicant for employment provide his or her current compensation, or any prior compensation history, until such time as the applicant is extended a conditional offer of employment with compensation.
