Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading paperboard processing company in Greenville, South Carolina! This first shift position offers a competitive starting pay of $28.00 - $32.00 per hour as well as a range of benefits that you could be eligible for, such as healthcare, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance! Benefits included: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Short-term disability (STD) and Long-term disability (LTD) insurance Life insurance 401k plan Profit sharing Paid vacation & holidays Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot problems on equipment and machinery, identifying solutions. Properly lubricate machinery, clean air filters, perform meter readings, and inspect belts, air, hydraulic, and water lines. Diagnose and repair complex problems prior to machine part failure. Execute lock out/tag out procedures as required on all equipment. Understand tension controls, load cells, brake systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, water systems, cylinders, and roller change outs. Perform chiller and industrial heater functions, rubber roller inspections, and nip roller knowledge. Utilize strong electrical skills; PLC & load cell experience a plus. Conduct welding and fabrication tasks. Use computer skills for various maintenance tasks. Source outside assistance when required. Comply with all safety policies and procedures. Be on call for emergencies. Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance and manufacturing. Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude. High school education or GED equivalent. Mechanical certifications and degrees are a plus. Strong math skills. Experience with tension controls, load cells, brake systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, water systems, cylinders, and roller change outs. Electrical skills; experience with PLCs and load cells is a plus. Welding and fabrication skills. Proficiency with computer skills related to maintenance tasks. Excellent skills in root cause analysis. Ability to work overtime when required or come in early when needed; some weekend work may be required. Must be a team player. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate on all levels. Must possess a strong commitment to safety policies and procedures.
