Front End Developer - React (Hybrid) - 1585 Location: New York City, NY - 3 days onsite Interview expenses: Not covered Our client is looking for a Front-End Developer that will own several UIs from start to finish. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of scalable services in a distributed system. portion of the work will be full-stack/server-side development using Java and Python. This is optional as the focus is primarily front end. Required experience: 5+ years' experience in frontend development using React, Redux, and Websockets building high performance UIs. Experience designing and building high-performance front-end applications. Experience successfully delivering software projects into production. Financial industry experience nice to have but not required. There are some expectations to mentor and get up to speed with domain knowledge. Like working a fast paced and growing company with little supervision. Like being in an environment where your work will be noticed. Experience building services in Python would be a plus. MUST HAVE's Someone that has developed UIs using real-time streaming data. IDEAL EXPERIENCE Experience in the financial industry including investment banks, asset management, hedge fund, or commercial trading software company.
