Position Summary Partners closely with Food Lion Category Management, Merchandising and Retail in addition to ADRM (Ahold Delhaize Retail Media) scale shopper teams to capture, execute, and process billings against the allocated marketing playbook events throughout the year. Supports the manager of omni-shopper marketing with the development of the omni-shopper marketing annual strategic playbook and platform that, collaboratively with category and CPG (consumer product goods) partners, will influence customer behavior and drive brand equity, sales and category growth. The role leverages customer and thematic based insights coupled with integrated marketing plans and analytics to create and execute CPG funded programs designed to drive mutually beneficial business results and return on investment. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Track allocation of selling inventory, scheduling, conduct all billing and event execution deliverables of all Omni-channel shopper local brand and AD scale sold event programs such as new item programs, multi-vendor selling events, single-vendor selling events, cause events, themes and recipe events, Shop & Earn loyalty packages, and any new developed programs with category and merchandising Responsible for collecting participation forms and provides relevant communication updates of each event with Category Management, Merchandising, Retail, and Vendor teams to deliver profitable, category building, sales driving plans that leverage marketing and merchandising channel inventory within a path to purchase package Manages Workfront creative and project needs entry to successfully execute each event Manages the day-to-day income and expense budgets and vendor billings that achieve desired organizational results and maximize sales and returns on inventory allocated across the channels Updates weekly inventory income tracker and monthly budget and income reconciliation Works with marketing and merchandising channel experts to align and reserve proper inventory allocation to honor and fill playbook packages throughout the year Provides all needed information for AD analytics and scale shopper team to input results and analytics into vendor reporting analytics platform Supports manager in providing communication tools, strategies, and event performance to assist Category Management with selling shopper marketing programs to vendors Responsible for updating all quarterly Food Lion/Ahold Delhaize scorecard metrics related to shopper marketing income and event key performance metrics Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent in related field 3+ years retail, category, CPG, brand marketing experience Skills and Abilities The successful candidate is highly motivated, customer focused and results oriented Candidate must have strong cross-functional leadership, thorough marketing and retail knowledge, financial acumen, excellent communication and project management skills and be able to manage multiple projects at one time Knowledge of the marketplace, the ability to think strategically, strong business acumen, and marketing promotions such as one to one direct marketing promotions is highly preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Strong business and data analysis skills Experience with financial planning and budgeting Working knowledge of retail food industry, sales, e-commerce operations and marketing Ability to professionally perform presentations Competencies Experience with CPG relationship management, sales, and targeting eCommerce content Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of marketing or category experience. Previous experience in retail, brand or shopper marketing that includes demonstrated results in developing strategies and programs to drive retail sales.
