We are building an organization throughout the Pacific Northwest focusing on our partnership with the Burger King, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and Arby's brands. Responsibilities Core tasks and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Prepare, compile, and sort high volumes of invoices by entity and enter the related transactions into the accounting information system in support of 45+ quick service restaurants Prepare import/export files from key vendors/suppliers and review imported data for accuracy and completeness Monitor the Accounts Payable e-mail inbox daily and provide timely responses and feedback to inquiries Ensure expense coding, voucher preparation, and check issuance is accomplished accurately and in a timely manner Research, troubleshoot, and resolve accounts payable issues regarding vendor invoices and accounts Prepare lease payment and percentage rent invoices in the accounting information system Facilitate the tracking of recurring licenses, permits, and utilities for quick service restaurants Request, review and reconcile vendor statements to accounts payable aging reports Assist in preparing property tax returns Demonstrate the vital Cultural Foundations of Energy, Engagement, and Empathy through all interactions with both internal and external stakeholders Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Vice President of Accounting Qualifications Candidates for this role should meet the following criteria: Minimum of Associate's Degree in related field or proven working experience in accounts payable Experience in the QSR industry and/or high volume preferred Proven knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software with strong 10-key/data entry skills Self-starter with the ability to self-manage and adjust priorities in a rapidly changing environment Highly organized, detail orientated, and able to meet critical deadlines Team player with the ability to communicate with different leadership styles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics GP or Great Plains preferred Physical Demands/Work Environment Ability to sit at a desk, working on computer and/or phone approximately 40 hours per week Requires the ability to communicate with team and leadership in person, by phone, and/or computer Summary of Benefits Medical - United Healthcare and Kaiser Voluntary Life Insurance, Dental and Vision - United Healthcare Company Paid Life Insurance - $40K - United Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts - Medical/Dependent Day Care 401(K) and Roth IRA retirement savings plans - 20 years of age Vacation Time - 10 days a year Observed Holidays - 7 days a year Floating Holidays - 1 day a year Sick Time - 1 hour for every 30 hours worked - no waiting period Direct Deposit Annual bonus potential - 10% of base pay
