Job Title: Reliability Engineer Job Type: Full-time Reporting to: Plant Manager Location: Red Lion, PA About Us At Tate we are passionate about everything we do. About The Role The Reliability Engineer develops, reviews, and updates a preventative maintenance plan to ensure the equipment at Red Lion is kept in optimal condition and operates to standard, and looks for opportunities to improve equipment performance. The Maintenance Engineer also assists in the development and implementation of equipment projects and leads the project(s). What You'll Do Reviews and updates existing PMs. Develops new PMs as needed for improved equipment performance on existing equipment and for new equipment/processes. Works with Maintenance KPI's to identify opportunities for downtime reduction and equipment performance. Evaluates systems or facilities to identify potential repairs, overhauls, and upgrades that need to be performed. Establishes and manages Project KPI's, including schedule, costs, and deliverables. With manager, prepares Capital Expenditure Requests for projects and/or equipment. Conducts root cause analysis of equipment failures and implements fixes. Provides technical training to Operations management and other team members. Identifies opportunities and implements a Predictive Maintenance regimen. With Operations management, Maintenance technicians, and Manufacturing Engineering, establishes Operator Maintenance checks as well as shift start up checks. Helps coordinates work performed outside by maintenance, contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants, particularly on overhauls, equipment updates, and new equipment installation projects. Owns and promotes good housekeeping and follows established safety procedures. Follows all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual. Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel. Additional Expectation Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands. Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System. Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering field required. Mechanical or Electrical is preferred. A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in the manufacturing maintenance environment is preferred. Working knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Understanding of PLC's and computer operated equipment. Familiarity with maintenance software (CMMS) a plus. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.) applications and computer technology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Leads by example. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Must have strong troubleshooting skills.
