Position Overview The People Operations Director will be instrumental in shaping the company's culture, boosting employee engagement, and driving organizational growth. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and overseeing a team of three, this role will involve both strategic leadership and hands-on management of core HR functions. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, emphasizing talent acquisition, retention, performance management, and employee development. Lead and establish policies, processes, training programs, and surveys to support organizational HR goals and ensure compliance. Manage the department budget and make key purchasing decisions. Enhance the employee experience through effective onboarding, training, and ongoing support. Oversee talent acquisition efforts, improving the candidate experience. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws. Design and oversee performance evaluation systems and career development programs. Support conflict resolution, conduct investigations, and manage employee relations. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or SHRM or HCI certification. Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience. Strong strategic HR experience collaborating with C-suite executives. Comprehensive knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and industry trends. Proven experience with compensation and benefits processes. Demonstrated management and leadership experience. Excellence in communication, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving. Creative approach to finding solutions. Experience with ADP Workforce Now (advantage). HRCI certification (advantageous). Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000.
