Market Data BA with Vendor Management ExperienceMUST be local to NYC, Hybrid at least 3 days onsiteSalary: up to $200k baseAreas of responsibility:Business AnalystStrong knowledge and understanding of market data products and data used in a commercial investment bank, by users in Fixed Income, Equities and Investment Banking.A partner to the business and comfortable engaging with users of market data products.Experience and successful at running savings programs such as comparing services and optimization of products.Present market data financials to the business.Vendor ManagementExperienced negotiating commercials with data providers.Ability to partner with vendors to ensure our user requirements are met.Solid understanding of licensing of market data products and entitlements.Understand of procurement and souring processes including ventory and Financial ManagementHands on experience of market data inventory platforms such as TRG and MDMUnderstand moves adds and changes procedures across different market data productsFamiliar with invoice reconciliation and processingHas worked with finance for furcating and budgeting of market data expenses.Candidate QualificationsRequired background, skills and experience7+ years' experience in commercial market data roles (Business Analyst and Vendor Management)Expert with market data products and data used in commercial investment banksA partner to end users and ability to build and cultivate relationships at all levelsStrategic commercial negotiator with market data vendorsStrong understand of market data financials (inventory, accruals, forecasting, budgeting)Excellent communication skills, written and verbalExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong presentational skillsPower BI experience desirable
