The firm is a $7 billion credit shop based in New York with a high-quality, global reputation and a nearly 30-year record of strong performance focused on credit and convertible securities. The firm seeks to hire an individual to work as part of the Client Advisory team.Position OverviewThis individual will serve as an integral member of the Client Advisory team with a focus on supporting the firm's institutional and wealth management clients. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated interest and ability to complete the full range of investor relations tasks (detailed below). The role will require strong quantitative, analytical and communications skills. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:Supporting the firm's internal Client Advisory and Sales efforts, including creating and editing presentations and fact sheets, assisting with monthly or quarterly letters commentaries, performing competitor analysisPreparing regularly scheduled monthly and quarterly reporting, and assisting with responding to ad hoc investor inquiriesParticipating actively in the RFI and RFP process and helping to develop a more streamlined, efficient and scalable process Providing support in production of due diligence materialsProcessing and reporting client inflows, outflows, and guidelines changesCompiling performance analyticsattributionPreparing product reviews for senior management and marketersProcessing client inflows, outflows, and guidelines changesEntering and managing contacts and sales notes in the firm's CRM System Collaborating and working closely with the team on automation initiativesRequired Skills: Ability to thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced, competitive work environmentDemonstrated knowledge of fixed incomecredit investment strategies Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesAbility to forge and maintain strong internal relationships with senior members of Sales, Client Advisory, Portfolio Management and Operations teamsProven display of intellectual curiosityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh energy, interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated and results oriented Willing to work with a "roll up the sleeves can-do" attitude Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)BackgroundProfessional Requirements: BABS degree required 2-4 years of relevant experience required Previous experience in a client service position actively supporting institutional and intermediary clients, as well as sales professionals
