Job Summary Support for drafting and editing of the Capital Plan and the U.S. Resolution Plan. Maintain central inventories for output for capital and resolution planning processes *Assist in the preparation of materials summarizing capital and resolution planning processes and results for senior management and the Board of Directors. *Create tailored analysis on a variety of capital and resolution planning topics to facilitate decision-making by senior management. Job Description What is the opportunity? This Analyst will support the Capital & Resolution Plan team with the production of the Capital Plan for both Royal Bank of Canada - United States (RBC U.S.), and its affiliated entity. The role will contribute to key activities of the capital planning cycle, assist in the preparation of materials summarizing capital and resolution planning processes and results for senior management and the Board of Directors, and create tailored analysis on a variety of capital and resolution planning topics to facilitate decision-making by senior management. What will you do? Primary support for drafting, editing, finalization, and governance of the annual Capital Plan and Resolution Plan. Prepare initial drafts of Capital Plan and Resolution Plan chapters and associated key policy documentation Perform quality assurance reviews to drive professional and consistent work product Assist with preparing materials summarizing capital planning processes and results for senior management and the Board of Directors. Incorporate feedback from the Capital Plan from key stakeholders, senior management, and the Board of Directors Assist in Assumptions Management process for Capital Plan and Resolution Plan Create sensitivity scenarios on macro-economic variables and key assumptions Analyze sensitivity results, present them to senior management and draft commentary in Capital Plan. Provide support for regulatory exams, MRAs and MRIAs as needed Review supervisory guidance and industry news to identify capital planning and resolution planning requirements, best practices, and trends What do you need to succeed? Must-Haves Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting 2 or more years of experience in accounting or financial analysis in banking or financial services Strong business writing skills Strong interpersonal skills Experience creating and delivery of financial reporting and presenting to senior management Independent thinker with ability to deliver results with minimal oversight. Nice-to-Have Experience in Resolution Planning, Capital Planning, or CCAR stress testing for financial institutions Experience in Workiva, Tableau or Alteryx What's in it for you? This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
