We are currently seeking an Field Engineer to join our Facilities & Infrastucture team. SUMMARY We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer with a minimum of 10 years in the construction industry, including at least 5 years specifically focused on distributed generation component power systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage field operations effectively. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of projects involving distributed energy resources, such as solar, wind, and energy storage systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and manage field operations for distributed generation projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards. Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure quality control, safety, and adherence to project timelines. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to coordinate activities and resolve technical issues on-site. Monitor the installation and commissioning of distributed generation components, including inverters, transformers, and energy storage systems. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and compliance records. Assist in the development and review of project plans, ensuring all components meet regulatory and safety requirements. Provide technical support and training to field staff and subcontractors regarding the installation and operation of power systems. Implement best practices for construction processes, safety protocols, and environmental compliance. Participate in project meetings, providing insights on field operations and identifying areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to distributed generation systems EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Field Engineer in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in distributed generation component power systems. Strong knowledge of power systems, renewable energy technologies, and related regulations. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with project management software and tools. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
