We offer individuals a wide range of programs, services, and support tailored to their specific needs.Job DescriptionAHRC New York City is seeking a Psychometrician to work in the agency's Department of Family and Clinical Services. The Department of Family and Clinical Services operates two primary outpatient clinics in Manhattan and the Bronx and provides services at satellite locations and telehealth within the 5 boroughs. Our team comprises psychologists, social workers, and rehab services professionals who have a passion for their work. The Psychometrician will conduct psychological testing, interpret testing results, and prepare psychological reports for the Developmental Disabilities population. A Doctoral-Level Licensed Psychologist will supervise. Psychological testing is conducted to identify the nature and extent of an individual's developmental disability. Such testing is often necessary to determine whether a person is eligible for services or for admission to a specific program. A variety of psychological tests are used including the Wechsler tests, Stanford Binet, Vineland, and Autism assessment tools. From these assessment tools, the psychologist prepares a summation and interpretation of results in the form of a psychological report.Position hours are highly flexible (daytime, evening, and weekends available)Location is flexible (within the five boroughs)Per-Evaluation Rate: $175QualificationsGraduate Degree in Clinical, Counseling, or School PsychologyGraduate coursework in intelligence testing and psychological testingStrong ability to prepare psychological reports in a timely fashionAbility to work independently under supervisionExcellent communication and clinical writing skillsExperience with DD and Autism population preferred but not requiredBilingual preferred but not requiredNYS Driver's license not requiredLicensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) ARE NOT QAULIFIED FOR THIS POSITION!Additional InformationPer-Evaluation Rate: $175Position hours are highly flexible (daytime, evening, and weekends available)Location is flexible (within the five boroughs).Learn more about us: your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
