Branch Manager - Community Bank in Queens, NY Job Description: Our Client is a leading Community Bank in Queens, NY. We seek an experienced Branch Manager to join a thriving financial institution focused on community engagement and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, collaborating with the Assistant Branch Manager on managerial and administrative functions. Foster a well-functioning, cohesive team of retail employees dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. Provide coaching, training, and regular feedback to all branch employees to enhance performance. Manage branch employee schedules to ensure smooth operations. Monitor and supervise branch activities, including equipment, safe deposit boxes, cash on hand, and branch maintenance. Conduct audit procedures to ensure compliance with controls; report any weaknesses to the Director of Retail Banking. Ensure branch compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by regulatory agencies. Administer security and safety protocols, ensuring staff adherence to policies and procedures. Build and nurture relationships within the community, representing our client as a key community partner. Initiate outreach to potential and existing customers, contributing to the growth of the customer base. Advocate for an exemplary customer experience, resolving elevated customer complaints as needed. Perform other duties as necessary. Desired Skills & Experience: Bachelor's or Associate's Degree. Minimum of five years' experience in branch operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building skills. Success in building and maintaining customer organizational skills. Must have a car and be open to working at different branch locations in Queens, NY, on an as needed basis.
