RSM is seeking an experienced professional within our Transaction Advisory Services group to assist in developing and executing our business performance analytics offerings to our middle-market clients. We work with corporate and private equity clients on complex decisions that involve strong analysis, extensive modeling, and advanced data analytics across a wide variety of industries. You will leverage your strong data analytics skills to enable our clients to execute their transactions while maximizing the deal value; this will ensure effective financial and operational decisions in a data-driven environment. Responsibilities: Direct and supervise the data analytics process through all phases of the engagement lifecycle Gather data, understand client issues, and formulate pragmatic data solutions Perform and conduct data analysis to support business processes and financial reporting Prepares detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirements Understand operational metrics (e.g. cost and risk profiles associated with products, customer, and vendor portfolios) Maximize revenue and growth opportunities; devise go-to-market strategy through advanced analytics Work closely with the client and the RSM Transaction Advisory team to design and implement solutions revolving around complex data analytics. Lead and collaborate to develop strategies that address client needs. Manage expectation of service delivery, monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are informed of progress and projected outcomes Demonstrate strong quality execution and delivery Create internal and external awareness of data analytics capabilities and develop relationships with market and service leaders Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of work in analytics; experience supporting a deal team is preferred Degree in accounting or finance preferred Advanced Excel skills Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, or other BI/ETL tools Strong analytical, project management, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal tools At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people. At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range. Compensation Range: $137,200 - $276,100 Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
