Our IT Analyst-Vendor and Asset Management will lead vendor relationships and oversee IT procurement and asset lifecycles. This role manages and tracks IT software and hardware assets, ensuring accurate cost allocation across business units, maintaining compliance, and supporting organizational objectives. What You'll Do Manage vendor services to meet performance and cost goals, working closely with finance, legal, and compliance partners to ensure alignment with organizational needs. Supervise, administer, and improve the IT purchasing process, review and approve invoices, and maintain accuracy in alignment with budget and contract terms. Assist procurement and legal teams with contract management to ensure vendor agreements meet operational and budgetary needs. Track, renew, provision, recover, and ensure compliance for software licenses, maximizing utilization and managing subscription costs. Maintain an accurate software and hardware inventory, with a focus on mobile devices and laptops, aligning lifecycle management with budget objectives and organizational needs. Administer processes to allocate software and hardware asset costs accurately across business units, ensuring transparency in collaboration with finance and business leaders. Schedule and lead vendor review meetings, setting performance-focused agendas to drive service improvements and cost control. Conduct regular audits to ensure IT assets and vendor services adhere to regulatory and internal standards, partnering with compliance as needed. Generate insightful reports on vendor performance, cost allocation, and asset utilization using Excel, PowerBI, or other tools for data analysis and reporting. Drive continuous improvements to streamline vendor and asset management processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and compliance.RequirementsEducation/Experience and Other Requirements Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field.3+ years in vendor or asset management roles.CertificationsITIL certification (or similar IT service management certification).Software Asset Management (SAM) certifications, such as IAITAM Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM).Project management experience or certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP).IT audit or compliance certifications, such as CISA or CRISC, to enhance compliance and audit capabilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Familiarity with asset management systems and licensing tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, or Ivanti.Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings.Expertise NeededStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making and optimize processes.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to engage with multiple teams, such as IT, finance, legal, and compliance teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Skills in identifying root causes, problem-solving, and recommending options for continuous improvement.
