Mortgage Loan Closer The Mortgage Loan Closer is responsible for coordinating and finalizing all documentation necessary for the closing of mortgage loans. This includes ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, as well as federal and state regulations. The Closer works closely with loan officer, underwriters, title companies and other stakeholders to facilitate a smooth and timely closing process. Position preferred to be 100% in office in Meridian Idaho, but all qualified candidates will be considered. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review loan approval documents and conditions to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare closing documents, including the Closing Disclosure (CD), loan documents, and an additional required forms. Coordinate with title companies, attorneys and other third-party vendors to schedule closings. Verify loan terms, fees, and closing costs are consistent with the loan approval and comply with regulatory guidelines. Communicate with loan officer, processors, underwriters, and other stakeholders to address any outstanding issues or conditions prior to closing. Conduce final quality control checks on loan files to ensure all necessary documentation is present and accurate. Coordinate the signing and notarization of closing documents with borrowers. Ensure timely funding and disbursement of loan proceeds Prepare and deliver closing packages to appropriate parties, including investors, title companies and government agencies Maintain detailed records of loan closings and related documentation Stay updated on changes in mortgage lending regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines Qualification and Skills: Previous experience as Mortgage Loan Closer or similar role in the mortgage industry Proficiency with mortgage loan origination software and closing platforms Strong understanding of mortgage lending regulations, including TRID, RESPA guidelines Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced organization and manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Strong problem solving skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively Knowledge of title insurance and real estate closing procedures is a plus Other details Job Function 36-CLOSE Pay Type Hourly Apply Now
