Solution Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid) . The ideal candidate is responsible for designing and developing resilient, high-performance solutions, leading POCs, and providing technical guidance to delivery teams while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture strategies. Rate Range: $63/hour to $73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Solution Architect job responsibilities include: Designing and developing complex, high-performance solutions across various software development platforms, including Linux, Windows, Java, .NET, Python, and JavaScript. Leading the development and implementation of DevOps automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Jira, and Git to streamline processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery. Collaborating with teams to assess technology applicability, performing hands-on POC work to evaluate solutions. Providing technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams, ensuring project requirements are met with minimal supervision. Designing secure, integrated systems, ensuring adherence to security protocols like encryption and authentication standards. Managing the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements definition, design, testing, and deployment. Communicating technical progress, challenges, and status updates to program management and leadership. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture with expertise in DevOps, cloud technologies, and enterprise-level software development. Strong experience in designing and implementing high-performance, integrated systems across diverse platforms (Linux, Windows, Java, .NET, Python, etc.). Knowledge of security protocols (e.g., encryption, OAuth) and experience with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
