Job Title: Electrical EstimatorJob DescriptionWe have an immediate need for an Electrical Estimator to join our team in our main Phoenix office. The ideal candidate will have a strong expereince in electrical estimating for substations and/or transmission and distribution projects.ResponsibilitiesAssist two chief estimators with various tasksConduct quantity take-offsPrepare and manage bid packagesProcure subcontractor bidsManage RFI during bid periodControl costsSchedule projectsMaintain subcontractor relationsOversee P&LMaintain and deliver high-quality and competitive bid analysisEssential SkillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience in electrical estimationKnowledge of substation projectsFamiliarity with construction and bidding processesExperience with change ordersCompetence in using estimating softwareAdditional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Timberline or Sage 300 software (nice to have)Proficiency in Bluebeam or OnScreen software (nice to have)Previous estimating experienceWork EnvironmentThe position is based in our Phoenix office, with approximately 80% of the time spent in the office and 20% in the field. Travel will be limited to site visits within Arizona, with the farthest trips being to Tucson. The candidate will report to two chief estimators who will provide training as needed.
