Maimonides is an affiliate of Northwell Health and a major clinical training site for SUNY Downstate College of Medicine.As Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator, you will play a critical role in enhancing patient care quality, safety, and efficiency. You will identify opportunities for improvement, drive workflow optimization initiatives, ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, and implement data-driven solutions. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate the division's performance improvement program, monitor performance, track outcomes, and promote a culture of continuous improvement through data collection, analysis, trending, and benchmarking.We requireCurrent NYS RN licensureBSN in nursing essential5-7 years Emergency Department nursing experience required.1-2 years' experience in performance improvement, chart audits, data analysis, data reporting, or development and production of automated reports preferredDemonstrated knowledge and use of computers and software including MS Word, Excel Access, and PowerPoint.Demonstrated knowledge of CQI principles.Demonstrated ability to analyze statistics and data in various formats.Ability to interpret medical records.Good organizational & interpersonal skills.Good English verbal & written communication skills.Ability to maintain ED educational requirements (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC)We preferMSN preferredCurrent Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification preferredSalary $110,000-$125,000 For immediate consideration, please submit a resume to: Nurse Recruitment and Tammy Motov,VP of Nursing, Emergency Medicine.
