POSITION:Project ManagerJOB TYPE:Full-time, ContractLOCATION:Ridgefield Park, NJJOB SUMMARY FOR PROJECT MANAGER:As the Project Manager of DA Retail Merchandising (Displays), you will lead the execution of Home Entertainment or Digital Appliances retail fixtures deployed at retail stores across the US, specifically (but not limited to) the following:Project management of retail fixture development from Design Brief to in-store execution including design agency deliverables, design and engineering drawing approvals, fabrication, shipping and this role, you will partner with Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Sales, Retail Operations teams within Key Customers such as Home Depot and Lowes, and DALT to deliver the above.RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PROJECT MANAGER:Co-develop the Design Brief with DG PM and ensure it meets project objectives and timingEnsure all approved assets required by design agencies are provided to meet design deadlines and milestonesManage the internal stakeholder review and approval process for fixture designs up to final design and engineering files, and coordinate with the Sales team on customer approval processes and stage gatesManage the fixture fabrication process including vendor selection, scope of work and budgets, materials and fabrication techniques, and timelinesManage fixture logistics to store and installation including vendor selection, scope of work and budgets, crew deployment and timelinesTrack and provide installation reporting and address gaps and issues as neededProvide insights on competitor messaging, fixture design and communication at retail, and partner with DG & PM teams to improve retail displaysBe familiar with the latest materials, fabrication techniques and technology that could apply to our displays.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR PROJECT MANAGER:Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required5+ years of related experience is required.Prior experience in consumer electronics preferredPrior experience with displays and merchandising in Lowes, Home Depot and Best Buy preferredPrior project management experience in an environment with multiple stakeholders, dependencies and vendors requiredPrior experience managing, developing and inspiring marketing staff requiredPrior experience managing fabrication and installation vendors requiredSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROJECT MANAGER:Must be able to identify, analyze, interpret, present, explain and execute retail marketing strategies and executionsMust have experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite and intermediate PowerPoint skillsGraphic design skills (Photoshop) considered a plusAbility to successfully navigate a highly matrixed corporate landscape and lead by influence with strong negotiation and problem solving skills
