What more could we ask for?Senior Technical Project ManagerWe are seeking a proactive, technically-savvy senior ProgramProject Manager to facilitate the development of an innovative radar-based product. This is not a traditional project management role. Instead, we are looking for a strategic facilitator who understands the intricacies of putting together complex projects across hardware, embedded software, machine learning, and webmobile applications. This person will serve as the critical link between teams, helping remove obstacles, initiating tasks in the proper sequence, and ensuring everything progresses smoothly.Your SuperpowersYou define yourself as the driving force behind seamless project execution, acting as the strategic anchor that connects every element of a complex product ecosystem. With a deep technical understanding across hardware, embedded systems, machine learning, and application development, you bring clarity to each team's role, ensuring tasks begin at the right time and obstacles are cleared before they impact progress. Your proactive facilitation style allows you to foresee challenges and coordinate effectively with supply chain, manufacturing, and product owners, fostering a cohesive, aligned environment. By managing documentation, defining clear project plans, and enabling self-managed teams, you ensure that each pieceof the puzzle fits perfectly, paving the way for a successful and innovative productlaunch.The Job's ResponsibilitiesAs a collaborative subject-matter expert (SME) on a Team of SMEs, you will use your superpowers (listed above) to collaborate with others with their superpowers (you'll work with others who excel at business strategy, product management, user experience and industrial design, electronics design and engineering, software architecture and development, supply chain and logistics management, finance and business modeling, SCRUM and program management, business development and contracting, sales, and marketing) in a supportive and safe team setting to achieve company goals.You will be responsible for:â— Strategic Facilitation: Understand the overarching project structure and facilitate effective collaboration across hardware, software, application development, supply chain, and manufacturing teams. Ensure clarity on dependencies and timing to support smooth project flow.â— Develop Project Plans: Define roles, responsibilities, and deliverables across product teams for all initiatives. Establish a clear roadmap with milestones and manage alignment on objectives across teams.â— Documentation Management: Ensure necessary project documentation is created and maintained, including project plans, technical specifications, timelines, and relevant reports, to provide a clear, accessible reference for all stakeholders.â— Obstacle Removal: Identify and actively remove bottlenecks and obstacles that might impede progress. Act as a resource to teams, enabling them to remain focused on their objectives by removing friction points.â— Process Sequencing and Coordination: Coordinate task initiation and manage workflows to ensure each component starts and progresses at the right time. Create alignment on project milestones and priorities to support timely delivery.â— Supply Chain & Manufacturing Coordination: Work closely with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure production schedules, inventory, and resources align with project timelines. Proactively address any supply chain constraints or manufacturing challenges that could imp act delivery.â— Collaboration with Product Owners: Work closely with the product owners of each ecosystem element to develop a profound understanding of the technical needs and interdependencies across all product areas. Ensure cohesive integration and alignment between different components of the product ecosystem.â— Proactive Communication: Raise and communicate risks or dependencies promptly, anticipating issues before they arise to prevent project delays or misalignment.â— Cross-Functional Support: Partner closely with technical leads, design, product, and manufacturing teams to ensure all areas have the necessary resources, information, and timing to succeed. Maintain visibility into all areas of the project while enabling teams to work autonomously.Required Qualificationsâ— Technical Understanding: Solid comprehension of hardware, embedded systems, machine learning, application development, and supply chain processes. Experience working closely with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams is essential.â— Problem Solver: Proven ability to identify, prioritize, and remove obstacles to keep projects moving efficiently.â— Self-Managed and Proactive: Able to independently manage responsibilities, ensuring tasks are aligned with project needs without heavy oversight.
