About the Company - Hedge Fund based in NYC is seeking an Investor Relations Analyst to join their dynamic and collaborative Client Advisory team. This individual will support the team's Capital Development, Investor Engagement, and Client Service initiatives. They will have diverse responsibilities, contributing to project management and process development across various functions. Success in this role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. This individual must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting all deadlines and requires a high level of responsibility and accountability to ensure the successful completion of various tasks.Responsibilities -Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of investor universe, investment strategies at the firm and competitive landscapeOwnership of due diligence questionnaires, on-site due diligence meetings, request for proposals and requestsOwnership, coordination and creation of investor content, including investor reports, investor meeting presentations and communications including quarterly fund investor letterspresentations, annual meeting presentations, investor meeting materials, marketing and branding materials, marketindustry content management on social media platforms and company's website, and ad-hoc reports, presentations, and communicationsShare ownership of the investor relations inbox, monitoring, and responding promptly to investor questions and requestsHandle the distribution of all investor-related marketing collateralOversee team's use of its CRM, enter new meeting notes, manage account and contact pages, oversee the pipeline, and ensure all information is accurate and currentSupport the team's outreach efforts by helping organize investor events, sending outreach emails for roadshows, assisting with meeting follow-ups, and investor research ahead of upcoming meetingsCreate prep sheets for the portfolio managers and research analysts ahead of any client meetingsWork collaboratively with the firm's investment professionals, operations team, and external counterparties to respond to investor requestsRequired Skills - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance requiredMinimum 2 years of relevant investor relations experience in public equitiesStrong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)Extremely detail-oriented and strong organizational skillsStrong knowledge of alternative investments universeExcellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skillsExhibit a proven ability to think creativelyDemonstrate exceptional problem-solving skillsAbility to think dynamically in a fast-paced environment Proven to be a fast learner Strong sense of personal responsibility, ownership mentality, reliability, and results-orientationMust be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environmentAbility to take direction but also to be independent and have a proactive mindsetCapable of thinking five steps aheadWillingness to take on what's needed to support the team; being a team player is a must!Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $120,000 per year, at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include a discretionary bonus and other company sponsored benefit programs.
