The role is East Coast specific and will not have manager responsibilities. The role will be reporting directly to the Sr. Manager - Facilities Management & Construction US.The Facilities Technician is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all facilities within a geographical region. This position will perform general building maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, HVAC, refrigeration, and appliance repair. The Facilities Technician will work alongside the Facilities Department leaders to maintain the aesthetic of our stores and ensure all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Performs basic repairs on plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains store systems, equipment, and appliances.Performs basic routine preventative maintenance activities for all HVAC-R systems.Orders supplies and materials needed to complete assigned tasks.Coordinates third party contractor activities and scheduling with Operations.Utilizes Facilities Ticketing platform to track, assign, dispatch and resolve tickets as necessary.Performs other related duties as assigned.KEY QUALIFICATIONS3-5 years of working experience in Facilities Management.Must be flexible to work on weekends and be on call when assigned.Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and refrigeration.Ability to use hand tools and power tools.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Prolonged periods of standing and walking.Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.Ability to work in extreme temperatures, in high noise levels requiring hearing protection, and working around chemicals, cleaning materials, paints, etc. Must be able to pushlift up to 75 pounds at a time.THE BENEFITSMedicaldentalvision coverageCommuter reimbursement account through AMERIFLEX401k plan for retirement savingsEmployee perk program to save on travel, entertainment, and more.Employee meal planFree coffee - duh'New parent leaveAn opportunity to make a real impact on the people around you, both by growing them and by connecting them to real foodA collaborative team of people who live our core values and have your backA clear career path with opportunities for development, both personally and professionally THE PROCESS Submission of Application - Resume Review - Initial Screening - Interviews - Offer - OnboardingWe will only consider applications through Easy Apply and will conduct interviews ongoingly.For US job post only: NOTICE OF NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
