Akkodis is seeking a Facilities Management Specialist for a 10-month contract in Boston MA 02127.Title: Facilities Management SpecialistLocation: Boston MA 02127 (Onsite) Contract: 10 months Contract Pay Rate: 41-43hr. on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.) Job DescriptionResponsibilities:• Maintain, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems and equipment in accordance with local code• Perform service, preventative maintenance. Develop LOTO protocols for equipment• Troubleshooting and identity root cause problem solving.• Learn and use BMS WO for site operation and CMMS for asset management• Ensure a safe working environment, follow HSE use of PPE and cleanroom gowning• Read and interpret blueprint, schematics, and technical drawing.• Collaborate with other internal customers and external venders to ensure proper installation and integration of HVAC systems• Test systems and devices with specialized tools to ensure proper function and safe operation.• Provide support for all general facilities sitework.• Coordinate site work with stakeholders to meet the requirements of the site Manufacturing operation.• Develop Follow equipment SOPs, related GMP training and policies• Work will support the site 24-hour manufacturing operationsQualifications:• High School diploma or equivalent• Completion of an accredited Refrigeration apprenticeship program or relevant work experience• Valid Refrigeration license or certification as required by the state regulations.• A strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawing.• Experience working with power tools and electrical testing equipment.• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Experience clean room operations, gowning, GMP and SOP documentation,• License or knowledge of industrial wastewater operations - Grade 2 Operator.• Haz waste material handling, RCRA certification.
