This is a direct hire role and onsite 2-3 days per week.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include the following tasks:Basic knowledge and understanding of: security incident and event management (SIEM) including log monitoring and management, local area networks and firewalls, Active Directory, group policy objects, scripting, encryption, web filtering, exploits and hacker techniques, and, network and operating system security principles.Manage and maintain security softwarePartner with team members to ensure data is protected from unauthorized internal and external access, modification, or disclosureResearch, evaluate, and recommend security products, services, and standardsPartner with IT staff members to provide technical security guidance and recommendationsSupport activities to foster information security awareness within the organizationGENERAL QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Security or related technical field or equivalent technical capabilities requiredExperience with Windows, Mac OS. UnixLinux operating systems a plus.Knowledge of scripting; Python, PowerShell, or similarKnowledge of cyber security fundamentals and conceptsExperienced in installing security software and documenting security issuesExcellent written and oral communication skillsDesire and drive to learn, grow and develop key cyber skills and competenciesBasic knowledge of IAMIDPs and PAM a plus
