Our culture is fast-paced, innovative, agile, and offers every team member the opportunity to drive a big impact.THE ROLEWe're looking to hire a Scientist in Bioengineering for ODDITY LABS. In this role, you will:Work closely and collaborate with Platform within ODDITY LABS to develop novel macromolecules, including peptides and proteins, for topical and non-topical applications in consumer health and wellness.Conceive, plan, and execute studies to support R&D projects in our pipelines.Lead research programs focused on new molecule discovery, high-throughput screening, target validation, and assay development.Refine and continuously evolve existing pipelines to enable data-driven decision-making, acceleration through the proof-of-concept to product stages, and product validation pipelines.Develop andor standardize protocols to support synthesis and scale-up.Stay apprised of new biochemistry, bioengineering and chemistry trends and implement new technologies that further enhance the capabilities of ODDITY LABS.Develop and present new concepts in partnership with ODDITY LABS ODDITY leaders.Support 1-3 team members across their developments, providing feedback, coaching, and mentorship.Foster a culture of innovation and be a leader within ODDITY LABS and across ODDITY teamsWHO YOU AREYou are a recent (PhD, MD, MDPhD, PharmD) in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Bioengineering or Biology with 1 - 2 years of industry experience.You have extensive knowledge of current bioengineering techniques and experience implementing them.You have extensive experience with mammalian cell culture, particularly experience with handling primary human cells. Experience with stem cells, iPSC differentiation, various culture substrates, andor 3D models is ideal.You can code in Python (proficiency is a plus - may directly work with our Platform team)You are a hard worker with a high level of accountability.You are a strong problem solver with a deep curiosity and desire to tackle challenging biochemistry problems in a fast-shifting environment.You are excited about building and growing a team, creating an environment that supports your team's personal professional development and strong performanceYou have excellent written and verbal communications with experience working with a diverse range of stakeholdersYou are adaptable and a team player, willing to go the extra mile and jump in on ad hoc tasks to support the overall company growth WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive compensation and benefits package.This position will consider and sponsor candidates on a visa (OPT, STEM OPT, H1B, TN).This position is in-office in our Cambridge, Massachusetts office and laboratory.The salary for this position is negotiable and commensurate with experience.Note: We're currently hiring for many roles!
