Position: Production PlannerSchedulerType: Direct HireLocation: Newark, CASalary Range: $75K-$110KSUMMARYKelly Engineering is seeking a qualified Production PlannerScheduler for a direct hire role with our client in Newark, CA. The Production PlannerScheduler is a hands-on role where you will establish and coordinate the production schedules, while ensuring the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between or within departments.RESPONSIBILITIESPlanning and monitoring the flow of work through the manufacturing processCoordinating with management in creating and updating job schedulesMonitoring and reporting the status of all parts and jobs and adjusting the production schedule to support the goal of 100% on time deliveriesEstablishing and coordinating production schedules, and ensuring the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments.Analyzing future orders with respect to capacity planning and maintaining capacity dataCollecting, creating and developing manufacturing metricsOverseeing proper production control planning and scheduling programs.Assisting with outsourcing manufacturing work when requiredEpicor Vantage or E10 Manufacturing SoftwareDocument material details, including codes, brands and contact information necessary to process ordersUpdate orders to account for remaining inventory or changes in production schedules QUALIFICATIONS4+ years of experience in a production scheduling planning role Document material detail, including codes, brands and contact information necessary to process ordersHS Diploma Required; Associate Degree (preferred but not required)Must have experience using Epicor Vantage or E10 Manufacturing SoftwareMust be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.Must be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performed.Good communications skills, both written and oralExperience working in a cross-functional, team-oriented environmentExperience with ERPMRP scheduling systemsExperience updating orders to account for remaining inventory or changes in production schedules CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSAuthorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
