We are a premier boutique private equity firm in midtown Manhattan, with 60-70 senior-level professionals, seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and optimize our company's IT infrastructure. In this role, you will oversee internal IT operations, manage cybersecurity, and collaborate closely with an external Managed Service Provider (MSP) that supports much of the day-to-day IT work. Additional responsibilities include managing vendor relationships and implementing strategic IT initiatives. We offer competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).Key Responsibilities:IT Infrastructure & Architecture: With our MSP design and manage scalable IT infrastructure; oversee servers, networks, cloud services, and critical systems; assess and integrate new technologies.Vendor & MSP Management: Maintain and negotiate with technology vendors and the MSP; serve as the main IT liaison for external partners and ensure high service quality from the MSP.Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement security protocols to protect data and assets; ensure regulatory compliance through regular assessments and collaboration with third-party security firms.Technical Support: Provide high-level support for complex IT issues, while working with the MSP to ensure seamless service delivery and high user satisfaction.Project Management: Lead IT projects from planning through completion, coordinating with departments to align with business goals.Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, track expenditures, and optimize resource allocation for cost savings and operational support.ERP Management (not required, but a plus): Support ERP administration, such as NetSuite, collaborating on enhancements and integrations to drive business efficiency.Requirements: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT management or a similar role, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment.Proven expertise in IT infrastructure management including desktops, networks, servers, and cloud services.Strong cybersecurity knowledge and experience implementing and managing security protocols.Experience managing or working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for day-to-day IT support.Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) for business integration, with the ability to support ERP administration and optimization (a plus).Strong background in project managementExperience in budgeting and resource allocation within an IT department.Excellent vendor management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with senior-level professionals and cross-functional teams.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications preferred, such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).If you are a proactive leader ready to drive IT strategy within a senior-level team, we encourage you to apply.
