MDS Nurse

MDS Nurse Location: Belle Fountain - 18591 Quarry Rd., Riverview, MI, 48193 Job Description: The MDS Nurse is responsible for completing and maintaining accurate Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments for all residents in the facility. This includes coordinating with interdisciplinary team members to gather necessary information, conducting assessments, and ensuring timely submission of completed assessments to the appropriate agencies. The MDS Nurse will also be responsible for monitoring and tracking resident care plans, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed. Additionally, the MDS Nurse will provide education and training to staff on MDS requirements and updates. Requirements: Active nursing license in the state of Michigan Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care Knowledge of MDS requirements and regulations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
