Your role Are you an experienced AML professional who enjoys working in a dynamic and diverse environment? Are you able to leverage your knowledge of AML/KYC industry standards and regulatory requirements to provide guidance to a broad range of constituents? We're looking for an experienced AML Advisory Analyst to: • assist in coordinating updates to business procedures to align with firm policies and industry regulations and providing business with guidance on the application of the firm policies • evaluate client adverse media items for relevance and materiality, and draft summaries for further review with key stakeholders • review and assess AML procedural inquiries, escalations and exception requests submitted by business partners • assist in drafting policy exception requests on behalf of Business AML Office; track submission and approval • track progress for tactical and strategic AML deliverables for Wealth Management USA business • participate in projects and other strategic change initiatives related to AML requirements • support ongoing client, regulatory and audit requirements on regular and ad-hoc basis • collaborate regularly with a variety of stakeholders within the Wealth Management USA business, and with partner teams such as Compliance, Legal, and Group Operations Your team You'll be joining our Business AML Organization (BAMLO) team, which focuses on driving strategy, implementation, and oversight for the AML program within the US Wealth Management line of business. This role is based out of Weehawken or Nashville. We work collaboratively with our business partners, WM field leadership, and Second Line Compliance partners to ensure that our Financial Advisors serve their clients in accordance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise • 5 years+ experience in wealth management and AML/KYC, or related regulatory experience supporting a wealth management organization is preferred • knowledge of AML/KYC industry standards and regulatory requirements • experience in wealth management and/or a good understanding of operational processes in financial services is a plus • effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to tailor style to intended audience • a highly organized work style and ability to track and complete deliverables on time across multiple, evolving business priorities • comfort with digesting large data and analysis to identify and interpret key conclusions • strong attention to detail • strong technical skills with Excel, PowerPoint About us UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
