For more information, visit . ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Epic HIM Coding Analyst with extensive knowledge of 3M coding tools to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and maintaining the integration of the Epic Health Information Management (HIM) module with 3M systems, ensuring seamless coding workflows, regulatory compliance, and accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Epic HIM and 3M applications, collaborating with HIM and IT teams to enhance documentation and coding processes. RESPONSIBILITIES Configure and maintain the integration between Epic HIM and 3M coding solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system integration and functionality. Implement updates, upgrades, and enhancements to maintain compatibility and compliance. Provide expert guidance on the use of 3M tools for coding and documentation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in workflows. Collaborate with coding teams to identify pain points and implement solutions to streamline processes. Ensure compliance with ICD-10, CPT, and other industry-standard coding guidelines. Conduct rigorous testing of system configurations, workflows, and interfaces between Epic HIM and 3M applications. Validate data accuracy and integrity, minimizing errors and disruptions. Work closely with HIM, coding, revenue cycle, and IT teams to optimize workflows and system utilization. Develop and deliver training materials and sessions on Epic HIM and 3M systems for end-users. Act as a liaison between technical teams and operational staff to ensure clear communication and effective problem resolution. Generate and analyze reports to monitor coding productivity, accuracy, and compliance. Provide insights and recommendations to improve HIM and coding operations. EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Epic HIM certification is required; additional certifications in coding (e.g., CCS, CPC) and experience with 3M tools are highly preferred. Extensive knowledge of 3M coding applications, including 3M Encoder, 3M CodeFinder, and 3M 360 Encompass. Proven experience with system integration and support within the Epic HIM module. Strong understanding of HIM workflows, coding practices, and regulatory requirements.
