Job Description We are currently hiring a Maintenance and Reliability Technician in Breinigsville, Pa The Maintenance Reliability Technician is working to positively influence the Brewery and provide technical guidance and prioritization of work identified from multiple sources. This position will focus on Electrical based on Brewery needs. Emphasis will be on competence development, continuous improvement, loss reduction, troubleshooting, and the interface between maintenance and other departments. Leading zero breakdown activities, scoping improvements and installations, assessing/developing plans for major overhauls, ensuring adherence to standards, and participating on the project team will also be expected. This role will follow a normal Monday-Friday work schedule to understand 24/7 responsibility for their assigned area and willingness to flex their work schedule to support all shifts as required (including weekends and holidays). What You'll Brew: Provide urgent, daily support in achieving maintenance department goals with a positive, proactive, can-do attitude. Assesses work identified during the week and prioritizes action plans. Work with Assistant Maintenance Manager to assess opportunities related to maintenance technician and instrumentation engineers' work assignments. Implement enhanced programs as agreed upon. Work with line leaders, operators, and technicians in identifying the needs of each line, prioritization of work, developing execution plans, driving plans to completion, and thorough follow-up to ensure resolution. Ownership of the predictive and preventative maintenance programs (infrared analysis, program comparisons, servo settings, etc....), including frequency review, criticality assessments, and incident follow-ups. Diagnose and repair all machinery and process, must be fluent in assigned area (mechanical or electrical) troubleshooting. Scope and justify capital projects through a gated approval process. Manage/support vendors for assigned areas (electrical and programming changes/upgrades or mechanical system modifications) Responsible for driving down process losses (raw materials, product, rejects, etc....) and stewardship of the process. Level: 9 In accordance with pay transparency laws and Company policy, please be aware that the pay rate for this role, if hired, is determined by the collective bargaining agreement with the applicable Union. As of the time of posting, pay for this position starts at $41.52 per hour. Consistent with the collective bargaining agreement, pay rate will increase incrementally thereafter based on seniority. What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of high-speed packaging and process knowledge Strong understanding of can and bottle packaging and equipment Experience with VFDs, control systems (PLC's/HMI's), electrical protective devices with knowledge of calibration procedures and equipment, including Fluke and Transcat. Proven analytical, problem-solving, and project management experience and skills Able to impact and affect positive change with a flexible, open-minded, positive approach Proficient computer skills; ability to learn and utilize CMMS and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint Must be able to demonstrate the application of continuous improvement knowledge to actively participate in identifying and correcting opportunities, improving processes, including participation in the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, the creation and maintenance of preventative maintenance standards, the writing of One Point Lessons, and participation in continuous improvement methodology events.
