Schedules, assigns, guides, directs and instructs professional and allied nursing personnel in nursing activities.Examples Of Typical Tasks Performs major duties and functions as described in the Staff Nurse position description. Coordinates, guides and directs the development, implementation and continuous evaluation of the nursing regimen for patientsclients within the clinical service. Participates in the determination of conditions, resources and policies essential to delivery of nursing care within the clinical service. Guides, coordinates and directs the development and maintenance of a system of evaluation of nursing care, practices and procedures, including evaluation of nursing personnel within the clinical service. Defines, implements and maintains standards of nursing practice and evaluates the quality of nursing care rendered within the clinical service.
