As an Early Intervention Bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) you will be responsible for providing home and community-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental delays and their families in both their homes and community settings. You will work in a coaching model, partnering with parentscaregivers to ensure service delivery is individualized, meaningful for the family, and grounded in evidence-based practice. The early intervention RN will focus on medical history, nursing assessment, as well as goals and objectives related to health, nutrition, and safety. Participate in the development of Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) with families and collaborate with families to identify strengths and resources. Provide services using a coaching model with children and families according to their IFSP. This may include home visits, child groups, and parent groups.Monitor developmental milestones and progress with parentscaregivers to inform the ongoing need for direct service, consultation, andor assessment.Provide parentcaregiver education on health and safety issues during home visits or parent education plete progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence as appropriate.Document all information necessary for the upkeep of client files.Participate in developmental screenings in the community.Attend program functions for clients and the public.Position Requirements:Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of MassachusettsBilingualBicultural a must.Ability to work independently and as a team memberStrong ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parentscaregivers, and community partnersKnowledge of family systems and early childhood developmentCommitment to delivering individualized and culturally informed servicesExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbide by all confidentiality and professional boundaries standardsGood computer skills as well as strong documentation skillsCurrent driver's license and reliable transportationNO PHONE CALLS OR RECRUITERS PLEASEThom Child and Family Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
