Position OverviewBlockdaemon is seeking an Account Executive based in NYC to drive our SMB sales efforts. The Account Executive will become an expert in our Blockdaemon product suite, and sell to new and existing customers across multiple cohorts. This role will have a focus on SMB accounts, and will report directly into the US Head of Sales.As a member of our sales team, you will be the point of contact for customers' needs, so you should be technically, operationally, and economically knowledgeable about blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and protocols.Candidates based in NYC will be prioritized.Your ImpactLead the entire sales process; identify, qualify, and close sales pipeline with SMB accountsAlign and drive sales initiatives with company goalsCommunicate efficiently and effectively with partners, investors, and customersUtilize and maintain an organized CRM to help with sales forecasting accuracy and consistencyProvide product support for customers both pre and post-salesProvide the product and engineering teams with customers' feedback to provide insight and data to help identify potential opportunities within the marketIdentify and leverage solutions to reduce sales and customer support costsContribute to customer satisfaction-driven sales performance KPIsCreate monthly reports for key customers including financial reports to customers as requestedRepresent company and educate prospective customers at conferences, trade shows, and private eventsPerform other duties as assignedRole RequirementMinimum 2 years experience in a Sales function, preferably in a tech/crypto/blockchain startup or projectStrong fluency in the blockchain spaceDeep understanding of blockchain protocolsExperience in B2B SAAS/Infrastructure salesHigh energy and team-player mentalityAn ability to engage with customers to discern their product and partner-related needsAbility to act independently / be proactive in an effort to source, progress, close new businessExcellent verbal and written communication skills and willingness to be prompt and responsive to a breadth of customer expectationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsA willingness to grow and adapt with an exciting company in a high-growth spaceUS Base Salary range: 80,000 - 100,000 USD#LI-RemoteAbout Us:We Power the Blockchain economy.Blockdaemon powers the blockchain economy with its suite of industry-leadinginfrastructure solutions.
