Lead Content Distribution Engineer

Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of Disney Distribution Mesh Manage incidents, communicate across distribution teams, and perform root cause analysis Review performance metrics for caching infrastructure and identify areas for improvement Troubleshoot and solve distribution issues in collaboration with operations and engineering teams Develop and execute frameworks for Incident, Problem, and Change Management based on ITIL standards Provide tier-2 on-call evaluation, escalation, and support Basic Qualifications BS/BA required Minimum of 5 years of experience managing caching solutions in a Content Distribution Network environment Expert knowledge of CDN Provider architectures and configurations Understanding of streaming video protocols and their interaction with caching Ability to perform network troubleshooting Knowledge of HTTP/DNS/Internet Architecture, caching, web serving, cloud technologies, scripting languages, security protocols, and configuration management Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Passion for troubleshooting and debugging
