Job Summary: The Financial Analyst in Syndicate Operations provides critical operational support to the Securitized Products Group (SPG) and Municipal Bonds underwriting businesses. This role focuses on ensuring the seamless execution of syndicate transactions from deal structuring to settlement. The analyst will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including syndicate desks, bankers, legal teams, and external financial institutions, to manage transaction processes and mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities: Manage complex transactions for the Syndicate Operations team, overseeing new issuance processes from deal structuring through to settlement. Demonstrate a strong understanding of transaction risks and escalate issues promptly to ensure appropriate resolutions. Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including Fixed Income Division, Syndicate Desk, Business Coverage Units (BCU), and external vendors such as DTCC, transfer agents, and financial advisors. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce manual procedures. Coordinate with senior stakeholders across Fixed Income, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Operations. Ensure operational control frameworks are maintained and enhanced as needed. Required Qualifications: Experience in Trade Support, Syndicate Operations, or a similar role within Operations. Strong technical knowledge of Fixed Income products and operational support functions. Proficiency in risk management and the ability to escalate issues in a timely manner. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in MS Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications: Confidence in driving discussions with senior stakeholders across various divisions. Proven ability to deliver process improvements and enhance control frameworks. Strong team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
