National Grid is hiring a Senior Business Analyst This role can be located in NY or MA New York: Albany, Buffalo, Syracuse Massachusettes: Hopedale, Northborough, Waltham This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations Job Purpose National Grid is seeking an adaptable and results-oriented Senior Business Analyst for our Clean Energy team. This role will aid in the migration of National Grid's legacy InDemand (DSM) system to state-of-the art Clean Energy (CE) 2.0 system that is being built. This position can be based out of MA or NY. As a Senior Business Analyst for the Business System's Support Team, work with the Business, and translate their requirements for business changes into application requests or system modifications into Salesforce platform requests using an Agile approach. You will be responsible for handling the support and enhancement tickets for CE 2.0 within your squad. You will also collaborate with the CE Team to design solutions and deliver high quality products and features that meet new business needs and to minimize repetitive tickets and re-work. Key Accountabilities Develop business relationships with the business team, product ambassadors, and the Support squad you are assigned to. Work with the Business and IT to translate detailed business requirements into meaningful features and user stories. Review business operations to identify areas of improvement and recommend appropriate solutions. Lead discussions on complex, cross functional topics that involve multiple systems or stakeholders and deliver clean requirements. Actively participate in product and system design discussions, providing valuable insights and expertise to contribute to the development of robust and scalable solutions. Ensure quality of the delivered solutions by participating in user acceptance testing Develop and maintain Support Management reports and dashboards for the CE Team, business stakeholders, and senior leadership, ensuring visibility of support activities and KPIs. Utilize data platforms and analytical tools to convert data into actionable insights. Stay up to date with industry Salesforce best practices and emerging technologies, leveraging this knowledge to influence product and system design discussions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical discipline, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of Business analysis and product experience Understanding of CRM, sales funnels, and fulfillment workflows Excellent communication, writing, presenting, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to establish and maintain productive relationships/interactions up to the executive level. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, including planning, organizing, problem solving and meeting established deadlines. Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpretation of data skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project Experience with creating PowerBI reports and or SQL queries. Experience making business process recommendations and influencing stakeholders. Salesforce Business Analyst Credential would be a plus. Experience with Salesforce implementation projects / Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud would be a plus. Familiarity with Confluence, and JIRA / JIRA Align a plus. Knowledge of digital product implementation fundamentals, digital ways of working, and Agile Safe methodologies a plus Experience with the Energy Efficiency or other Clean Energy Products would be an added plus.
