What you will do Role Overview: EDPRNA DG is seeking an Associate Director of Asset Management for the Distributed Generation team. As the Associate Director, you will lead the Asset Management team in overseeing solar portfolio performance, analysis, reporting, and enhancements. We're looking for candidates with experience in portfolio operations, business administration, and project and asset management. Main responsibilities: Portfolio Performance and Optimization Ensure the solar portfolio performs at or above forecasted production levels. Maximize total returns for each asset by analyzing system efficiency and identifying performance improvement opportunities. Coordinate the asset management team activities and roadmap. Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Coordinate O&M activities for the solar portfolio, ensuring optimal system performance, reliability, and longevity. Supervise O&M service providers, track maintenance schedules, and address any operational issues promptly and in compliance with contracts and best practices. Identify, contract and expand the O&M contractor network to improve QoS across the portfolio. Monitoring and Reporting Lead the development and creation of a new Network Operations Center (NOC) to monitor and manage all operational fleet. Propose comprehensive reports for solar projects. Manage the team execution of performance reports, investigating issues and implementing actions for improvement. Budget Management Lead the definition of yearly operational budgets, namely O&M OPEX and estimated production revenue. Control & monitor budget execution, and optimization of revenues and O&M expenses. Stakeholder Management Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Origination, Development, Engineering, Construction, Accounting and Finance. Manage relationships with stakeholders in solar projects, including Client's, property owners, AHJ's, and utilities. Ensure accurate billing to customers and resolve any issues together with Accounting. Employment type Work site Full- Time Hybrid Work Model What are we looking for Minimum Requirements: 7+ years of energy industry experience in asset management and / or asset operations 5+ years of managerial experience in operations management role in the energy industry. * Renewable energy industry experience in solar or wind. * Strong business and financial savvy with the ability to support a high-performance organization that will deliver operational excellence and meet or exceed financial targets. * An ability to perform at a high level in a matrixed organization, working in inter- departmental teams to achieve objectives. * Excellent verbal and communication skills. * Willingness to travel, both within the U.S. and internationally. * Demonstrated computer literacy, including internet, Excel, Word, etc. * Bachelor's in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
