This will entail assisting in the following areas:• Generation, proofing and execution of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools• Development of test and diagnostic programs and completes specifications and procedures• Perform and support troubleshooting of functional, environmental, operational, andor performance tests on hardware, software, and systems• Supporting partners in the construction and test of the Columbia Class System• May require travel to Quonset Point, RI, Pittsfield, MA and Cape Canaveral, FL to support training and tasking effortsWhat you'll experience:Technologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secretA team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's nextOpportunities to gain new knowledge - as it's discoveredWhat you bring to the table:A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degreeSolid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theoriesSolid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languagesOpenly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutionsWhat sets you apart:Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success, meeting and exceeding personal and team commitmentsAbility to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexityCommitment to ongoing professional developmentThis estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
