Business Analyst

Work Environment: This is an onsite role based in Sabinsville, PA. (NO REMOTE CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED) Job Description: An exciting opportunity is available for a Business Systems Analyst 1 to join the Compression Services Data System Team within the energy transmission and storage industry. This customer-facing role supports maintenance management and work order application systems, primarily assisting internal colleagues. You will help ensure effective use of data systems, provide technical support, and participate in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities Application and Data System Support: Provide support for maintenance management and work order application systems as part of the Compression Services Data System Team. Engage with approximately 100 internal colleagues, addressing both routine and unique system-related issues. Maintain high standards of customer trust and confidence in IT support capabilities. Data Analysis and Problem-Solving: Conduct in-depth data analysis, identifying, diagnosing, and troubleshooting issues in related applications and databases. Apply logical and analytical thinking to develop solutions for technical and business challenges. Technical Documentation and Communication: Document solutions and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers. Attend team meetings to discuss current issues, lessons learned, and collaborate on projects. Daily Operations: Resolve customer issues as they arise, participate in training sessions as a learner, and attend project meetings. Provide assistance with tasks in Maximo (80% of time), Oracle Field Service (OFS) (15%), and Excel (5%). Qualifications Required Skills: 0-2+ years of directly related experience in business systems or industry requirements. Strong computer skills with knowledge of relevant applications and databases. Proficiency in logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to establish and maintain customer trust and confidence in IT support. Self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Maximo (80% focus) and Oracle Field Service (OFS) (15% focus). Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL knowledge for relational database queries. Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) for bug tracking (beneficial but not required). Additional Information Work Environment: This is an onsite role based in Sabinsville, PA, close to the New York border.
