Position:  Electrician Location:  Three Rivers, MI Experience Level:  Mid-senior Education Level:  High school or equivalent Industry:  Automotive Compensation:  Hourly rate for review (with additional shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts) Relocation Assistance:  No Visa Sponsorship Eligibility:  No We are seeking an experienced  Electrician  with either a Journeyman's card or  7+ years of direct electrician experience  specifically in a manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on experience with  manufacturing equipment, not facilities maintenance , and candidates should be highly skilled in industrial and electrical maintenance, particularly in high voltage circuits. Familiarity with  PLC systems  (preferably Allen Bradley), CNC machines, and frequency drives is essential, along with a strong troubleshooting ability. Shift Information: 2nd Shift: 2PM - 10PM 3rd Shift: 10PM - 6AM Overtime:  Rotational basis with potential for 2-3 Saturdays a month. Additional overtime pay structure applies. Key Responsibilities: Work on electrical systems in a  manufacturing environment , focusing on  manufacturing equipment  rather than facility maintenance. Conduct maintenance on high and medium-voltage circuits, including  480V, 120V, and down to 24-volt DC circuitry . Troubleshoot and repair various systems such as  PLC (Allen Bradley preferred) , CNC machines, frequency drives, motors, and related circuitry. Operate and maintain  Fanuc and Siemens controllers  on CNC machines, with flexibility for candidates who are stronger in either CNC or PLC experience. Perform troubleshooting on systems including  proximity switches, light screens, safety circuits, cables, Ethernet and communication issues , and motor drives. Required Skills and Experience: Must-Have Qualifications: Journeyman's card  or  7+ years of direct electrician experience . Experience in a  manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment . Strong industrial and electrical maintenance skills, with exposure to  medium/high voltage circuits (480V, 120V, 24V DC) . PLC experience  with a preference for  Allen Bradley . Experience with  Program Frequency Drives  and adjusting parameters. Hands-on experience with  CNC machining equipment , with knowledge of  Fanuc and Siemens controllers  preferred. Ability to troubleshoot a range of systems, from proximity switches to safety circuits and motors. Preferred Experience: Automotive industry experience . Strong experience with either  PLC  or  CNC  (one or both). Additional Information: Pay:  $40 per hour plus a $1 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Overtime Pay:  1.5x for hours over 40 and Saturdays; 2x for Sundays and holidays. Shift Expectation:  New hires likely to start on 2nd or 3rd shifts. Union Contract : Allows for mandatory overtime, with schedules posted weekly on Thursdays.
