Role Summary: To support the Asset Management team which protects the value of the collateral for CPC serviced, multi-family loan portfolio ("Portfolio"). To identify and mitigate the credit, financial, operational, physical, and market risks impacting the properties collateralizing the Portfolio. To support Asset Management team with day-to-day risk management activities for the Portfolio. To organize, administer and support the team's activities with borrowers; guarantors; local, state and federal government agencies; developers; owners; managers; agency lending partners; and other industry groups to preserve the value of the multi-family housing financed by the mortgage loans. What You'll do: Collect borrower, property, guarantor and principal financial statements and other required reporting. Support Asset Management through spreading borrower financial information pursuant to CPC and investor guidelines Monitor, track and report on borrower corrections to deferred maintenance identified during property inspections; assist other department members with follow-up and resolution. Organize, maintain and update Asset Management data, including but not limited to, oversight and quality control of new loan set-up, data updates to third party vendors, updates to project and Borrower contacts and other portfolio information. Assist with processing of borrowers' post-closing requests and update all systems, as necessary. Inform Asset Management team members and other internal stakeholders of risks and issues in the Portfolio, as they arise. Review property inspections as assigned and recommend actions based on inspection results. Monitor relationships with third-party vendors, order services and ensure appropriate and correct payments. Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders by responding promptly and accurately to questions and information requests. Support systems development and process improvement efforts to maximize efficiency and enhance issue identification capabilities. Perform other duties, as directed or required. Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree required with 1 - 3 years of experience in mortgage servicing, real estate investment banking, mortgage-backed securities, or similar related experience. Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, coordinate and communicate effectively and cultivate new and existing relationships. Strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and respond well to pressure and competing deadlines Understanding of multifamily development, ownership, management and finance desirable. Experience with Fannie Mae, FHA and Freddie Mac Multifamily Asset Management requirements preferred. Superior analytical, oral and written communication and presentation skills. The salary range is $60,000 - $70,000, dependent on experience.
