Sr. Engineer Systems (OMJ/MC)

Job Description: Work with the Kaney business development team to propose system solutions to meet customer needs that can be qualified and/or certified within schedule and budget Work with the rest of the design engineering team to bring designs to life by decomposing high-level requirements into valid lower-level requirements, owning verification matrices and dictating a mindful approach to verification and validation Responsible for knowing key system functions at the next-higher level, and working with the design team to achieve effective designs fit for their end-use Develop qualification plans, procedures and reports Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, hardware specialists, and quality assurance Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment Offer technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring effective problem resolution Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or other related discipline Minimum 7 years of aerospace experience Working knowledge of requirements management tools Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
