Quality Assurance Manager (Aerospace Industry)

Job Description: We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead our team in maintaining the highest quality standards in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will oversee the implementation of quality processes, collaborate with key customers, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Location: Chittenango, NY Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $90k+, but will be evaluated depending on candidates' knowledge, skills, and abilities Key Responsibilities: Establish and refine processes for effective internal auditing and process control Report on the performance of the business management system and identify areas for improvement Cultivate a customer-centric culture and ensure customer needs are met with excellence Safeguard the integrity of the management system through process and product changes Develop and enforce policies and procedures that comply with quality standards (AS9100, ISO17025, Nadcap) Facilitate training and certification programs for employees in quality assurance Work closely with key customers on quality issues and audits Provide leadership and support to the Quality and Laboratory departments Maintain professional certifications and credentials Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree with 5-10 years of manufacturing quality leadership experience, or an associate's degree with 10-15 years of experience Certifications: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB), or Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB) are preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficient in management and quality systems, ability to read and understand safety rules and customer specs, strong writing and communication skills, problem-solving abilities Why Join Us?
