Engineer - Comm Systems Requisition ID Location US-CT-Groton Seat Location EB Groton Shipyard Trade Engineering Shift 1st Security Clearance Required Secret Number of Openings 2 Overview The Total Ship Monitoring System (TSMS) team is responsible for detecting ownship conditions that require crew attention. The system consists of hundreds of sensors, data acquisition units and processors. The team also supports a new submarine system called the Stern Area System (SAS). The TSMS/SAS team support our products from concept formulation through prototyping through formal design/development through at-sea testing and in-service support. We currently have several engineering openings in system, component, firmware and software design, development, integration and test. Qualifications Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. 0 - 4 years of experience Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance Preferred: Co-op or intern engineering experience Relevant school projects Skills Self-motivated Strong sense of team environment Strong organizational, communication, written, and interpersonal skills Ability to apply attention to detail, technical rigor, problem-solving, and multi-tasking to technical assignments Ability to plan, organize, and schedule work Join our talent pools, get job alerts, and see EB news We can recommend jobs specifically for you!
