Job Summary The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for working with vendors, the business applications team, and customers to design and create enterprise-level reports, dashboards, and business analysis solutions for large, multidimensional databases. Essential Functions Support implementation of a new ERP/MES system Participate with other team members in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of best practice Data Warehousing solutions Perform necessary SQL server programming as well as tasks using SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services Evaluate Business Intelligence system performance and make technical recommendations to resolve any performance issues Lead the design and implementation of data models and data loading packages that deliver information in the most efficient manner possible for use in reporting and analytics by both IT and business users Develop, execute, and document complete, accurate, and structured system acceptance test plans Required/Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related fields, or equivalent experience Experience with delivering OLAP data to end users using Excel, or other tools/service including Mobile Delivery Proficiency with SQL Server Report Builder and similar BI Reporting Proficient in leveraging Microsoft Power BI for data visualizations and creating business intelligence with ability to source, mine, and blend data from various sources Proficiency in Creating Azure Gateway Refreshes for Power BI Reports Build complex dimensional data models and reports from the bottom up Development experience with Epicor and/or Camstar Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, HIPPA, etc.) Familiarity with Cloud Technology (AWS/Azure etc.) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Expert knowledge of BI tools including SQL Server 2008/2012 and MS BI Stack: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS Physical Demands While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
