Job Description: Participate in logistical delivery and work force planning with project personnel, and incorporate into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6 Software. Develop project schedules and fragments based on drawings, contract documents, and verbal direction; and conduct schedule update meetings to gather schedule update data, understand changes to clients' strategy, identify & explain scheduling impacts of changes, and perform associated data entry & schedule revisions. Review and provide comment on contractor prepared baseline, update and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 Software for compliance with contractual requirements. Produce schedule review reports and provide clear directions to contractors regarding required schedule revisions. Attend project progress and schedule meetings, provide recommendations to mitigate and recover the project delays. Accurately track contractor work progress related to schedule. On-site field verification required. Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages. Work cooperatively and collaboratively with program team members to deliver services in line with client expectations. Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates and products, and refer ideas to appropriate line manager. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards. Telecommuting permitted, but must work from the New York office location at least one day per week.Minimum Requirements:Education: Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Civil Engineering, or in a related field.Experience: Four (4) years of experience in job offered, Project Engineer, Project Controls and Scheduling Specialist, or in a related or experience in: 1.
