Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller at OnLogic's South Burlington, Vermont office will report directly to the Controller and assist with the leadership of Finance globally. As a finance expert, you will be contributing to the daily accounting, financial strategic planning, forecasting, reporting, and compliance in a fast paced environment. As the Assistant Controller, you will be a key person of influence and source of leadership for the finance team, as well as for the broader OnLogic organization. Participate in the daily accounting transaction flow and verify the accuracy of daily activities. Manage intercompany activity, billing, loans, reconciliations, distributions, and documentation. Lead global treasury function, inclusive of operating cash and short-term investments Look for opportunities to increase efficiency and scalability through automation and streamlining accounting processes. Identify areas of risk and implement mitigation strategies, including but not limited to team structure, workflow, cross-functional collaboration, and system and process changes  Interact and provide guidance to Management Team members regarding financial matters. Participate in key strategic initiatives and assist with other ad hoc projects. Support the FP&A function and annual planning process by providing financial data, KPIs, and analysis of revenue and spending. Assist with close process to issue timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with tax compliance internationally.  Assist in all aspects of domestic and international accounting operations. Requirements 5+ of overall experience, preferably in an international manufacturing environment Strong technical accounting background and a thorough knowledge of US GAAP CPA or MBA preferred  Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship Satisfactory completion of a background check Who we're looking for: Someone who lives our core values and can communicate and champion culture values across all levels in the company.
