Junior Environmental Scientist - Site Assessment and Remediation Triton Environmental, LLC ( Triton ) is actively searching for a Junior Environmental Scientist to join our Site Assessment and Remediation team in Guilford, Connecticut. Triton is a full-service environmental consulting and engineering services firm, and part of True Environmental ( True ). At True we are building a diversified environmental services organization focused on consulting and engineering, water/wastewater management, testing/analytical services, and value-add remediation services. This is a great opportunity to join our growing team! Core Responsibilities: Oversight of environmental field work including subsurface investigations, monitoring well installation, soil and groundwater sampling, underground tank removals, and remediation projects. Office tasks, including project support, data evaluation, boring and monitoring well log development, and assistance with report deliverables. Collaborate with other Assessment/Remediation team members to review and revise written work products. Coordinate subcontractors including drilling and remediation contractors and laboratories. Coordinate scheduling to meet client's deadlines. Analyze data, prepare client reports, and communicate with clients. Required Qualifications: Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology or a related scientific field. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in a directly-related science discipline. OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training; Previous field sampling experience.
